The typical fund-raiser these days involves wrapping paper, candy or other food items. However, by offering something "New & Different" your sellers will stand out in the crowd of others that are selling traditional products. Hand-Made Candles are quickly becoming the "Gift of Choice" by many organizations because the products are easy to sell, and the rewards greatly exceed those of the traditional fund-raisers. Our candles are triple-scented, burn evenly, long lasting, and affordably priced. We offer your organization 50% of the total sales. An average fund-raiser involving 20 participants that sell 25 candles each is about $2000 Profit! It is so simple! These Fundraising Programs can be used anywhere in the country. HOW WE DO A FUNDRAISER

When you decide to let Mrs. Candles help your organization raise funds we take the guesswork out of what comes next. We will provide the sales materials, including full color brochures, and samples if required at discounted pricing. The forms come ready to use, as we like to keep our fund-raiser as easy for you as possible. In addition to the brochure, we suggest that you include information concerning your fundraising effort. This ensures sellers and parents understand when the sale starts, when the sale ends, when the order forms and money need to be turned back in to leader, incentives and delivery date and time for pick up. The more your supporters know about your organization and Mrs. Candles, the more comfortable they will feel ordering.

If you wish to purchase a sampler set of your chosen program for display, these are available at a discounted price to your organization to help increase interest and boost sales. The program contents and prices are listed below:

Classic Collection - Includes five (5) each of the 10oz Terrace and 9oz Hexagon, this will represent each fragrance you select. Sampler cost is $60.00, plus shipping. Spirit Candles - Includes ten (10) 9oz Hexagon Candles in the Organization colors. One (1) each per fragrance you have selected. Sampler cost is $50.00, plus shipping. Terrace Collection - Includes ten (10) 16oz Terrace Candles. One (1) each per fragrance you have selected. Sampler cost is $80.00, plus shipping. Primitive Collection - Includes ten (10) 16oz Primitive Candles. One (1) each per fragrance you have selected. Sampler cost is $90.00, plus shipping.

You will find you will get many more orders when you have the items to display. This allows people to view the candle sizes, colors, packaging, and of course to smell! Since our candles are in glassware, it could prove dangerous to carry samples. We suggest that the sellers (or parents of the sellers if they are children) view the samples so they may help their friends and family choose the candle they would most enjoy.

We recommend allowing two weeks for sellers to take orders. All funds should be collected at time of order, and are the responsibility of the seller and/or the seller's parent(s). Sellers then have three - five (3 -5) days to return orders and money to the fundraising coordinator. All orders forms need to be received by the turn in date to receive proper credit and delivery. Use our Tally Sheet (provided in your packet) to total your product order as well as your percentage of the total sales. Please do not send us the original order forms.

EARNING POTENTIAL

The best advise is for your organization to set a profit goal. (How much money do you need?) Too many organizations never know how much money they need and then hope for the best.

The average profit you will be earning is $6.00 per candle. (Some candles are as high as $8.75 profit.)

A plan of action will make your fund-raiser a success. Let each seller know how many candles he/she needs to sell to reach your over-all Goal, then reward them for reaching it. Mrs. Candles offers an incentive program for the top three (3) sellers. We provide gift cards to Wal-Mart/Sam's Club in the amount of $50 for 1st place, $35 for 2nd place and $15 for 3rd place sellers. These will be received with your order and are the responsibility of the fund-raiser coordinator to distribute.

An average order is generally around 10 candles per seller, however there will of course be orders that come in lower or higher. For example, if you have just 100 sellers with an average of 10 candles per seller, that would be 1000 candles. That would net your organization $4000-$7500 profit depending on which program and size of candles that are sold! You have the potential to make an incredible profit with more sellers or even a small team of highly motivated sellers.

RECEIVING YOUR CANDLES

It just keeps getting easier! When you have placed your order, you will receive an Estimated Date of Delivery. This date is usually 2-3 weeks after placing the order with Mrs. Candles. You receive your candles via UPS if you are outside our delivery area. We pay shipping on all orders to us over $1000. That is right, we pay the shipping! A fundraising consultant will contact you to explain all details of "How To" run a successful candle sale. Your order will arrive in bulk for easy sorting of each seller's order.
